The history of the GUILCOR group begins in 1987 when Jacques GUILLON, after having
been a salesman in the company LEROY SOMER, decides to create a company which would
supply PTC thermistor probes to improve the thermal protection on the range of electric
motors. His former employer will be his first client, the idea works and the GUILCOR company is
born.
10 years later, it was his son Jacques GUILLON, second of the name, who in turn showed
an aptitude for capturing the spirit of the times when he decided to diversify the range of
temperature sensors to offer PT100, Pt1000, KTY probes. and thermocouple. From this date,
GUILCOR expanded its customer base, and continued to expand its product range by integrating
NTC thermistor probes in 2003 that can be adapted to new areas of application. This is how
GUILCOR will become over time a benchmark in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of
sensors. Today, the group maintains strong momentum and aims to exceed one million probes
sold per year.
