Overall Purpose
Handling and monitoring inspection results to ensure that product meet standard of quality with accurate data.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assuming incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production technician.
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
- Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements
- Monitoring and administering the QA Plan or Program and ensuring incorporated materials and part specification are in compliance with the plans and specifications
- Establish and maintain good safety and housekeeping practices.
Authorities
- Approve incoming process document
- Approve in-process production and finished products.
- Coordinate with Production Leader, Technician in any related quality issue from production.
Competencies required (knowledge, skills, abilities and others)
Knowledge in basic principle of measurement tools and machinery and ISO system
Skills of logical, methodical approach to work and must be accurate when taking measurements and recording figures. Computer skills requires.
Ability to use technical equipment and automated testing machines for example CMM.
Ability to read drawing.
Able to operate CMM Machine and Smart Scope, QC tools and any relevant
