ํYETI Location: Thailand – The work locations are either Chachoengsao and/ or Rayong province. Responsibilities: • Conduct onsite pre-shipment inspections at local facilities and/ or abroad when required. • Perform product and process audits, as requested, on items manufactured by the supplier. • Conduct finished goods (out of box) product inspections as required. • Provide timely, detailed reports and photographic evidence of product, packaging, labeling, defects noted, etc. for all product or pre-shipment inspections performed. • Document inspection activities by completing reports and logs. • Perform audits on supplier inspections to ensure supplier compliance with documented QMS and product quality controls. • Collaborate with (Sr.) Supplier Quality Engineers to facilitate necessary quality improvements within supplier environments. • Request and facilitate the review and follow-up of corrective actions taken to resolve any product defects identified during product audits and inspections. • Work with global cross-functional teams within YETI and ensure stakeholders are involved with supplier quality and development. • Perform other duties as assigned.
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
  1. • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering or related degree (e.g., Mechanical, Textile, Material Science).
  2. • 5+ years of working experience in supplier quality inspection within a global environment.
  3. • Must be fluent in English with excellent written and communication skills, local language is a norm and Mandarin is a plus.
  4. • Must have experience using manual inspection equipment (e.g., micrometers, vernier calipers, angle/ height gages, etc.).
  5. • Must have ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, material lists and inspection standards.
  6. • An additional advantage if familiar with common international certifications (ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO22000 etc.) and related quality tools and methodologies, including FMEAs, Control Plans, SPC & Control Charts and DMAIC, A3 and 8D.
  7. • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with the following processes (PPAP, SPC, Pareto, 5W, Is/ Is Not, Fishbone).
  8. • Working knowledge of various Microsoft office and conferencing apps including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.
  9. • Previous experience conducting process and product audits.
  10. • Ability to work well in independent and group problem-solving situations.
  11. • Effective communication skills, intense sense of urgency and must be willing to take initiative to drive for solutions.
  12. • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  13. • Must be able to meet deadlines within a global environment and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  14. • Strong teamwork with ability to collaborate within global environments where teams may be dispersed.
  15. • Relocation applicable based on candidate experience.
  16. • Successful candidate must be willing to travel domestically and internationally to supplier locations and work onsite.
