They ensure clear requirements, forecast market trends, mitigate risks, and collaborate with stakeholders. Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills are required.
Responsibilities :
Handle inventory management, order supplies, maintain vendor
Processes purchase order and ensures vendors provide with good and accurate delivery schedules.
Accountable for ensuring all orders are processed in a timely manner.
Oversee the negotiations of all purchases made by the purchasing department.
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
Initiate and implement continuous improvement activities to optimize process efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns.
Lead and assist costing team members to handle customer requirement for menu proposal.
Other tasks assigned by Purchasing Manager.
