The Manual Technical Writer is responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive user manuals and technical documentation for polymer extrusion machinery. This role requires understanding of engineering principles, good writing and visual communication skills, and the ability to work under deadlines to support shipment schedules.
The primary objective is to produce clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation to facilitate the effective operation and maintenance of company products.
Main Responsibilities:
•Technical Comprehension: Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of the operational principles, assembly, and disassembly procedures of polymer extrusion machinery.
•User Manual Development: Prepare detailed and accurate user manuals for polymer machinery, adhering to established templates and documentation standards.
•Visual Documentation: Take photo of machine for use as illustrations and visual aids within user manuals. This includes image editing and die-cut photo preparation using Adobe Photoshop.
•Documentation Updates and Revision: Revise and update existing user manuals to reflect changes in machine designs, product variations, and process improvements.
•Project Management: Manage documentation projects to ensure timely completion and alignment with weekly shipment schedules. Track project progress and report on status as required.
•Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, production, and other relevant departments to gather information and ensure the accuracy and completeness of technical documentation.
•Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes and content quality.
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Polymer, Industrial, or related engineering disciplines).
- Or Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) in related fields.
- Or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Professional Writing, Publishing, Journalism, or related communication fields.
- Basic skill in photography and photo editing, including experience with Photoshop for die-cut image creation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word).
- Technical background in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering principles (not mandatory).
- Proficient command of the English language (speaking, writing, and reading) suitable for technical documentation.
- Experience: Relevant work experience in technical writing or a related field is required.
