Responsibilities:
• Conflict Resolution:
Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding workplace conflicts, grievances, and concerns. Conduct thorough investigations, mediate disputes, and provide recommendations for resolution in compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Policy Development and Implementation
Assist in the development, implementation, and interpretation of company policies and procedures related to employee relations. Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures across the organization.
• Employee Engagement:
Collaborate with HR and management to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, feedback mechanisms, and team-building activities. Foster a positive work culture that promotes employee morale and satisfaction.
• Legal Compliance
Stay abreast of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensure that employee relations practices are compliant with legal requirements and best practices. Assist in investigations and prepare documentation for legal purposes when necessary.
• Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs for managers and employees on topics such as conflict resolution, communication skills, and diversity and inclusion. Promote continuous learning and development opportunities for employees.
• Employee Feedback and Surveys: Coordinate employee feedback mechanisms, such as surveys, focus groups, and suggestion programs. Analyze feedback data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop action plans to address employee feedback and enhance the employee experience.
