1.1Analyze the information received from the Sales Manager
1.2Discuss with the Sales Manager to understand the customer’s needs and the solution sought
1.3Share the elements that are strategic with regard to the sale process
1.4In collaboration with the Sales Manager and the customer, elaborate one or several solutions integrating the standard, special or third-party equipment which best suits the requirements
1.5Prepare and produce a conceptual layout for the Sales Manager and the customer
1.6Assess the project’s level of risk and costs, with the engineering team if need be
1.7Provide the Sales Managers and customers with a cost estimate as well as information on the equipment, options and configurations
1.8Document the conceptual solution
1.9Present the preliminary solution
1.10Initiate and participate in brainstorming activities with the engineering team, if need be
Validate the projects' technical aspects
2.1Validate the solution, including equipment, options, costs and configuration, with the engineering team
2.2Prepare, if need be, a formal conceptual layout according to specific technical concepts
2.3Visit site(s), when necessary, to produce detailed layouts
2.4Document the solution's descriptions as well as the formal quotation
Participate in closing
3.1Refine conceptual layout and formal quotation, if necessary
3.2Confirm delivery deadlines according to missing/received elements
3.3Prepare the information required for project start-up and identify/communicate the missing elements
3.4Transfer validated commercial and technical information to the Project Manager following the sale
3.5Monitor the project following the sale, with the view of improving/learning
