1.Supplier Management:
•Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and service.
•Maintain positive relationships with existing suppliers and negotiate contracts.
•Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
2.Procurement Process:
•Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for goods and services.
•Ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
•Verify receipt of items and resolve any discrepancies or issues with orders.
3.Cost Management:
•Conduct market research to identify pricing trends and cost-saving opportunities.
•Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost reductions.
•Monitor budget and expenditures to ensure cost-effective procurement practices.
4.Compliance and Documentation:
•Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, suppliers, and pricing.
•Prepare reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.
5.Collaboration and Communication:
•Work closely with other departments, such as finance and inventory, to coordinate procurement activities.
•Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to address any procurement-related issues.
6.Continuous Improvement:
•Stay informed about new products, services, and market conditions.
•Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in procurement operations.
