As a Purchasing Manager in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) business, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement and supply chain management. Your primary goal will be to ensure the efficient sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of high-quality products and ingredients while maintaining cost-effectiveness and supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for food and non-food items.
- Negotiate supplier contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and timely deliveries.
- Continuously evaluate supplier performance and assess their compliance with quality and cost standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize costs while maintaining product quality.
- Monitor market trends and prices to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Control inventory levels to minimize waste and stock holding costs.
- Maintain an efficient and well-organized inventory system.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Ensure appropriate stock levels to meet operational demands while avoiding overstocking.
- Work closely with quality control teams to ensure all purchased products meet quality and safety standards.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Create and maintain a purchasing plan to meet operational needs and business growth.
- Lead and motivate the purchasing team.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager more than 5years in the QSR industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
