The purpose of the Purchasing is to strategically source and procure essential materials, products, and services required to support the organization's operational needs and maintain a reliable supply chain. This is achieved by leveraging strong supplier relationships, negotiating favorable terms, and implementing efficient procurement processes that optimize costs, quality, and timely delivery to meet the organization's business objectives.
Main Responsibilities
1. Manage and control all suppliers, with a particular focus on procuring materials and finished parts for production
2. Source local and overseas suppliers to fulfill new materials, parts, and product requirements.
3. Ensure parts and materials are purchased at the most competitive prices, considering cost, quality, performance, and delivery time.
4. Develop and manage a database to analyze the cost of purchasing parts and raw materials, and summarize the findings for management review.
5. Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve cost reduction, improved service, increased reliability, and/or productivity improvement.
6. Work closely with associated departments to support procurement procedures, order status, and problem-solving, and advise on cost-effective alternatives
7. Continually improve purchasing methods and drive down unnecessary external spending
8. Perform any other reasonable tasks requested by the supervisor
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Professional certification in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) is preferred
- Demonstrated track record of cost savings and process improvement initiatives and Experience in supplier evaluation, selection, and management.
- Familiar with ERP system experience, relevant MRP project launch experience.
- Exposure to international procurement and global sourcing, if applicable. And continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Good command of English and computer literacy Ms Office.
- Good interpersonal & good negotiation skills.
- Able to work both independently and as team.
- Can work under pressure with positive attitude.
