1. Coordinate with suppliers and shippers to arrange shipments according to contracted purchase orders: Ensure timely and suitable shipping arrangements so that goods arrive safely, without delays or damage, and with hassle-free customs clearance.
2. Collaborate with freight forwarders to secure optimal freight rates from reliable shipping lines: Ensure high-quality service both during and after shipment.
3. Obtain and review shipping documents for accuracy: Work with freight forwarders and customs brokers for smooth and timely clearance of incoming shipments.
4. Maintain accurate records of all shipments: Ensure complete and proper filing of documentation, and distribute it promptly to the accounting department.
5. Manage any issues during the shipping process: Resolve customs inquiries, missing or incorrect import documentation, and other issues to prevent delays in customs clearance.
6. Regularly update the arrival shipment schedule with the warehouse, QC, and inventory control teams: Coordinate smooth unloading of shipments and ensure accurate inventory recording and costing.
7. Monitor and analyze shipment data: Identify inefficiencies and high-cost errors, recommending improvements and solutions to optimize shipping operations.
8. Demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude: Effectively manage fluctuations in shipment volumes and workloads to maintain consistent performance.
9. Negotiate delivery schedules with suppliers to align with demand: Issue purchase orders for spare parts to support sales and service teams as needed.
10. Export sample units, such as labels and packaging, to Chinese manufacturers for production or trial builds: Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of samples to support manufacturing.
11. Collaborate with the QC department to review product quality and compliance: Manage payments to suppliers, ensuring they are processed accurately and on time.

- Experience in Procurement, import/export document or related fields for at least 2 years
- Knowledge of goods release procedures
- Good negotiation skills, good interpersonal skills
- Able to speak, read and write English at a working level
- Computer skills and basic programs such as Microsoft Office or ERP
- Good analytical skills and problem solving skills
- Able to speak, read and write English at a working level
- Able to use Chinese will be given special consideration
