-Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of all auction processes, including setting schedules, managing auction staff, and ensuring all auction events meet company standards.
-Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to promote auction events and ensure high participation rates.
-Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements related to auction operations are met.
-Lead the team in inspecting, evaluating, and preparing assets (vehicles, machinery, etc.) before they are entered into the auction.
-Develop and implement standard operating procedures for asset preparation to ensure consistency and quality.
-Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient handling and movement of assets.
-Manage and develop staff within the asset preparation and auction departments, providing training and career development opportunities.
-Set performance goals for team members and ensure regular performance evaluations are conducted.
-Foster a culture of teamwork, transparency, and continuous improvement within the department.
-Prepare and manage the department's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining high standards of service.
-Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within auction and asset preparation operations.
-Ensure that all auction processes comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
-Implement and monitor risk management strategies to minimize potential issues related to asset handling, auction fraud, and legal exposure.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners involved in the auction and asset preparation process.
-Act as the key representative for the company in matters related to auctions and asset management.
