The Sales Executive - Air Freight plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth within the company's air freight division. This position is responsible for managing and developing the air freight export and import business, building strong customer relationships, and exceeding sales targets. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the air freight industry and a proven track record of success in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage Air Freight Business: Oversee all aspects of the air freight export and import business, including sales, operations, and customer service.
•Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
•Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, identifying their air freight needs and providing customized solutions.
•Financial Management: Monitor departmental profit and loss, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify areas for cost optimization.
•Team Collaboration: Support the sales team, group partners, and overseas network by sharing market intelligence, identifying business opportunities, and providing training on air freight knowledge.
•Operational Excellence: Ensure the efficient and timely handling of air freight shipments, including airwaybill management and coordination with all relevant parties.
•Market Development: Identify and develop new customer segments and markets to expand the company's reach and customer base.
•Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve any operational or customer service issues that may arise.
•Stay updated on industry trends: Maintain a thorough understanding of the logistics industry, including import/export regulations, Incoterms, and transportation management best practices.
