Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed designs of small mechanical parts for cine lenses, focusing on high precision and unique functionality.
  • Oversee the machining process, ensuring that all components meet exact specifications, and participate in the assembly and debugging of mechanical systems.
  • Develop motion mechanisms with a focus on reducing backlash, enhancing the performance and reliability of our cine lenses.
  • Work closely with our optical engineers and other team members to integrate mechanical designs with existing optical elements.
  • Ensure all mechanical aspects of the product meet rigorous quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

    1. Extensive experience in high-precision mechanical engineering is essential.
    2. Proficiency in small part design, machining techniques, and mechanical assembly processes.
    3. Strong understanding of motion mechanisms and backlash reduction strategies.
    4. A genuine enthusiasm for working with complex, unique designs that challenge conventional approaches.
    5. High level of commitment and the ability to see projects through to completion.
    6. Prior experience in optomechanical engineering is a plus but not required.
