Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Editor (English to Thai) with a strong background in editing technical content, specifically in automotive and engineering sectors. The ideal candidate will ensure translated content meets the highest standards of technical accuracy and localization quality.
Key Responsibilities:
•Translate, Edit, Review, or Proofread from English to Thai for technical accuracy in the automotive, engineering and technical fields.
•Ensure consistency with terminology, glossaries, and client-specific guidelines.
•Collaborate with translators and project managers to resolve technical and linguistic challenges.
•Maintain editorial quality standards for clarity and technical precision.
•Manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
- 5+ years of experience in translation/localization, specializing in automotive, engineering, or technical content.
- Native fluency in Thai with excellent English proficiency.
- Strong understanding of automotive and engineering terminology.
- Experience with CAT tools and translation management systems (TMS).
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred Skill | Strong knowledge of CAT Tools: SDL, Trados, MemoQ, other CAT and QA Tools
- Preferred Skill | Familiarity with machine translation post-editing (MTPE) in technical fields.
- Preferred Skill | Background in technical writing or engineering a plus.
