รายละเอียดงานThe ETP Officer is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and compliance of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) in a worsted textile manufacturing facility. This role ensures that the plant complies with environmental regulations, efficiently treats effluents, and maintains sustainable wastewater management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. ETP Operations and Maintenance
•Operate and monitor ETP processes, including physical, chemical, and biological treatment units, ensuring optimal performance.
•Supervise daily operations such as flow rate monitoring, chemical dosing, sludge handling, and effluent quality.
•Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of ETP equipment like pumps, blowers, clarifiers, and aerators.
2. Environmental Compliance
•Ensure all operations comply with local and national environmental regulations and standards (e.g., PCB norms).
•Monitor treated effluent discharge parameters (pH, TSS, COD, BOD, etc.) to meet permissible limits.
•Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities as per statutory requirements.
3. Record-Keeping and Reporting
•Maintain accurate records of ETP operations, such as daily logbooks, flow meters, and lab test results.
•Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for management and authorities.
•Report any abnormalities or breakdowns to the management promptly.
4. Laboratory Analysis
•Collect and test wastewater samples regularly to monitor influent and treated effluent quality.
•Coordinate with external labs for detailed testing and analysis when required.
5. Safety and Sustainability
•Ensure adherence to safety standards during ETP operations.
•Promote energy-efficient and environmentally friendly practices in wastewater treatment.
•Identify and recommend process improvements to minimize waste and optimize resources.
