The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and nurturing the company's relationships with its most important clients. They focus on understanding the needs and business processes of these key clients, ensuring that they receive first-class service and that their needs are met in a way that supports both the client's and the company's objectives. This role requires a strategic approach to foster long-term partnerships, identify growth opportunities, and increase revenue through upselling and cross-selling.
Scope of Work (SOW):
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and challenges.
• Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring all aspects of the account are managed effectively.
• Create detailed account plans that outline strategic objectives and initiatives to support key clients.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to enhance client success and revenue growth.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements, securing optimal terms for both the client and the company.
• Present sales presentations and proposals to key clients, tailoring offerings to meet their specific needs.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure that key account needs are addressed, coordinating the delivery of solutions and services.
• Provide feedback from key clients to internal teams regarding product and service improvements.
• Monitor sales metrics and analyze key accounts' performance to ensure targets are met.
• Prepare reports on account status, activities, and sales results, presenting to senior management.
• Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities, leveraging insights to support key accounts better.
• Conduct regular reviews of market analysis to adjust account strategies as needed.
