- Coordinate with customers, airlines, airline agents, shipping companies, and relevant internal departments.
- Prepare import air freight shipment documents.
- Prepare import shipment documents and send them to customers for verification.
- Submit import shipment documents through the CUSTOMER PAPERLESS system.
- Open a job in the company system and manage the costs for that particular task.
- Track the status of the import flight and update customers periodically.
- Book transportation for the goods.
- Responsible for tasks as assigned.
Regular Responsibilities:
- Receive AWB documents from airlines, airline agents, or affiliated companies.
- Check the accuracy of AWB, Invoice, and Packing List documents to prepare the import shipment documents for customer verification.
- Review related documents such as Certificate of Origin, Benefit Forms, and Licenses (in some cases).
- Track the status of incoming shipments and update customers periodically.
- Open a job and manage the costs for customs clearance and other related agencies such as airlines, airline agents, and shipping companies.
- Prepare the document set for customs clearance and inform the shipping company.
- Coordinate with transportation companies to arrange vehicles for goods delivery.
- Prepare import or export air freight quotations (depending on individual experience and development skills).
- Book flights with airlines or consolidators (depending on individual experience and development skills).
