- Collaborate with the buying team to plan and select product assortments based on market trends, customer preferences, and sales forecasts.
- Analyze sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities and risks and make data-driven merchandising decisions.
- Manage inventory levels and product allocations to optimize sell-through and minimize excess inventory.
- Monitor product performance and sales trends, identifying best-sellers and underperforming items, and making recommendations for markdowns, promotions, or replenishment.
- Work closely with visual merchandisers to ensure effective product presentation and visual displays that drive customer engagement and conversion.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Conduct regular store visits to assess merchandising standards, provide feedback, and address any merchandising-related issues.
- Stay updated on fashion trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to inform merchandising strategies and product assortments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to support business objectives and initiatives.
