• Develop XP and leveling curves for heroes and abilities.
• Optimize in-game economy, including gold distribution, item costs, and rewards.
• Design progression mechanics to ensure rewarding and skill-based player growth.
3. Data-Driven Balance Adjustments:
• Analyze match data (win rates, pick/ban rates, KDA, damage output, etc.).
• Identify overpowered/underpowered heroes and mechanics.
• Use statistical models to predict balance changes’ impact.
4. Game Systems & Meta Adjustments:
• Adjust damage formulas, armor/resistance calculations, and attack speed scaling.
• Balance team dynamics and roles (tanks, assassins, mages, supports, etc.).
• Work with designers and developers to maintain a competitive meta.
5. Playtesting & Iteration:
• Collaborate with QA team to identify balance issues.
