•Actively seek new business opportunities and manage a portfolio of import customers, building long-term relationships.
•Build and maintain relationships with both key and new clients.
•Conduct regular visits, calls, and follow-ups with key clients to nurture partnerships.
•Canvass cargo for all trade to achieve target.
•Identify and follow up on potential import leads, especially for clients seeking in transit shipment.
•Negotiate and close deals with customers, ensuring favorable terms and long-term contracts.
•Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for import business growth and assess competitors.
•Coordinate with both Internal and Oversea colleagues to ensure smooth shipment handling and timely delivery.
•Prepare sales reports, maintain accurate records of customer interactions, and track progress against targets.
•Assist the Import Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales plans to meet import sales targets.
•Assist the Import Sales Manager in client outreach, presentations, and preparing relevant data or reports.
