• All general duties required to operate an efficient Project and Engineering office.
• Carry out detailed engineering design and cost control of Electric process heaters, control panels, and any other product manufactured and/or supplied by company Group.
• Ensure all documentation is submitted to client in accordance with client specifications and expectations
• Liaise with clients and suppliers to fully clarify both technically and commercially the quotations submitted
• Carry our detailed design and drawings/documents for customer’s approval following receipt of purchase order from client and have detailed discussions during manufacturing process with factory, client and sub-suppliers.
• Liaise with all company offices and engineers throughout the world as required to complete the contracts to customer specifications and satisfaction.
• Attend meeting overseas at company and client offices as required.
Principle Accountabilities
• Ensure all projects are completed on-time and within budget.
• Project Engineering – provide project engineering for multiple projects, working with internal disciplines such as Process, R&D, and CAD, plus externally working with clients and sub-vendors to ensure successful project completion and continuing quality.
•Tendering – provide input to the tendering process including sourcing budget quotations, determining basic design information, creating preliminary schedules, input to risk analysis.
• Scheduling – preparation and tracking of project schedules, including pickup/delivery.
• Procurement – preparation of tender specifications for equipment and services, commercial and technical tender evaluation including preparing responses to bidders’ technical queries, recommendations for purchase, and purchase orders.
• Expediting – liaison with sub-vendors both domestic and international.
• Fabrication monitoring – Visits and liaises with fabrication sub-vendors to monitor progress of fabrication.
