Job description:
- Identify and target potential clients in need of international freight forwarding services.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate pricing and service agreements to secure new business.
- Continuously research and stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
- Address client needs and provide solutions to ensure satisfaction.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth and timely cargo shipments.
- Monitor shipments and provide clients with real-time updates.
- Resolve any logistical issues or delays that may arise during transportation.
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and client records.
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร - Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, international trade, or a related field is preferred. However, relevant work experience can sometimes substitute for formal education.
- Handling existing resource sales will be priority
- Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
- Familiarity with international shipping and logistics processes is highly advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building client relationships and making effective sales presentations.
- 3-8 years solid understanding of international freight forwarding, customs regulations, and shipping procedures.
- Ability to negotiate pricing and service agreements with clients and suppliers.
- Proficiency in using relevant software tools for sales tracking, reporting, and communication.
- Strong sales and persuasion skills to meet revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts and tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in additional languages relevant to international trade and clients’ needs can be a significant advantage.
