- Conduct inspections of electrical / mechanical installations and equipment to ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
- Review electrical / mechanical plans and specifications for new installations to verify they meet safety requirements.
- Identify and document instances of code violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform routine inspections to assess the condition and integrity of systems and equipment.
- Use specialized equipment to test the performance and safety of systems.
- Prepare detailed reports on inspection results, including notes on compliance and non-compliance.
- Provide guidance and advice on safety practices and procedures.
- Coordinate with technicians, engineers, and other professionals to address issues.
- Stay updated on changes in codes and safety regulations.
- Provide training and instruction on safety and code requirements.
