Job Descriptions

1. Provide accurate and timely responses to customer enquiries including the ability to prepare complex technical quotations 2. Phone customers weekly to follow up on all quotes and negotiate/re-quote if necessary to secure the order 3. Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and respond to technical enquiries on automation products (by phone & email) within your capability and refer any issues for further technical assistance to the appropriate internal specialist 4. Resolve supply-chain problems by liaising with suppliers and referring any non-conformance issue to the manager for resolution 5. Carry out administrative processes associated with the sales function, including the maintenance of the customer databases 6. Report to your manager on sales maters such as customer contact plans, prospects identified, customer feedback etc. 7. Negotiate pricing with suppliers in Australia & overseas 8. Processing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Strong experience in a sales support or technical sales role.
Knowledge of automation products, including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider - PLCs, HMIs, and drives.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
A trade qualification or an engineering degree.
Ability to work collaboratively within a small team.
