Job Descriptions

- Focus on plant-wide lean and continuous improvement projects, including process improvement - To assist in the development of a Lean Strategy to be implemented plant-wide - Support and facilitate ongoing growth and cost reduction by conducting Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping Events and Lean training as needed. - Coaching and training employees in lean methodologies. - Coordinate technical knowledge, related Work Integrated Learning training, including curriculum presentations of new features and simulation activities in a demo environment. - Develop and efficient training system to manage processes and improve training course. - Supporting development and implementation of the lean roadmap. - Work on rapid response certification program to ensure consistency across requirement. - Responsible for defining technical requirements, process flow diagrams and test strategies of the solutions required for production projects. - Responsible to lead the company initiative to move towards lean production environment. - Acts as a central resource for lean manufacturing and assists with day-to-day production support and improvements. - Responsible to manage all activities for a lean production philosophy, productivity and safety product/ management skills is needed.

Qualifications

Age 30-40 years
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years with proven experience utilizing Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing.
Initiatives in production is preferred.
Understanding of sheet metal manufacturing and Technology 4.0 preferred
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with high levels of collaboration with cross-functional teams at every level.
Ability to create, read, and explain value stream maps of complex processes.
In-depth knowledge and experience practicing Lean (waste elimination, continuous improvement tools, VSM, ECRS, DMAIC, DFSS etc.)
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to adapt to any situation's needs.
Ability to teach or coach a group in a way that clearly communicates Lean practices and use of tools.
Process engineering and/or industrial engineering background preferred.
Understanding of true waste and root cause analysis.
Exceptional ability in communication, customer service, time management and teamwork.
