Job Descriptionso Lead and Facilitate S&OP Process:
- Drive monthly S&OP meetings to align cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Procurement) on demand forecasts, supply plans, and inventory strategies.
- Ensure alignment between demand forecasts and business objectives, fostering collaboration and decision-making.
o Demand Planning:
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and input from stakeholders to develop accurate and actionable demand forecasts.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and identify areas for improvement to support business growth and operational efficiency.
o Inventory Management Leadership:
- Lead the Inventory Management team to optimize stock levels, avoid overstocking or stockouts, and ensure service level targets are met.
- Establish and monitor key inventory metrics, including turnover rates, excess inventory reduction, and safety stock levels.
o Process Improvement and Optimization:
- Identify process inefficiencies within demand planning and inventory management and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Recommend and implement advanced supply chain technologies (e.g., ERP, WMS) to enhance visibility and streamline operations.
o Risk Management and Opportunity Identification:
- Proactively assess risks in demand and supply alignment and develop mitigation strategies.
- Identify growth opportunities through data-driven insights and implement actionable plans
o Reporting and Performance Monitoring:
- Generate and distribute regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory performance, and S&OP outcomes.
- Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against goals and refine strategies.
