Job DescriptionsKey Responsibilities
- Pump Performance Analysis Gather and analyze operational data on pumping systems, including flow rates, pressures, and efficiency, to generate performance reports and identify areas for improvement.
- System Curve Development Understand and interpret system curves, evaluate pump head and flow relationships, and assess the impact on system performance.
- NPSH Evaluation Analyze the Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH) requirements for various pumps and ensure compliance with operational standards to prevent cavitation and other related issues.
- Critical System Assessment Conduct detailed reviews of existing pumping systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve performance, reduce energy consumption, and extend equipment life.
- Optimization Projects Lead projects focused on hydraulic rerates, pump upgrades, and system optimization for increased reliability and efficiency.
- Reporting & Documentation Prepare detailed technical reports on pump operations, including findings and recommended solutions for performance improvement and energy optimization.
- Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement pump improvements and ensure systems are operating at optimal efficiency.
- Troubleshooting Diagnose pump and system issues, identify root causes of underperformance, and develop corrective action plans.
- Energy Reduction Initiatives Suggest and implement measures for reducing energy consumption in pumping systems, focusing on operational efficiency.
