Job DescriptionsRole Purpose:
Manage the assigned Direct Customers to achieve volume targets, grow the different categories through availability, visibility & accessibility programs execution and implementation of operational efficiencies.
Key Accountabilities: (Key Responsibility)
Sales Generation
• Achievement of category & total sell-in targets.
• Build and adhere to an effective and efficient trade coverage/route plans
• Implements the agreed Basic Call Procedure (Ovaltine Way of Selling – Sales Call Execution) to achieve sell-in, distribution, merchandising, market hygiene and execution of trade programs
• Responsible in merchandising the trade ensuring visibility and dominance.
Managing of Account Receivables & Customer Management
• Ensures that collections are performed efficiently, and the credit policies and collections standards are being implemented.
• Monitors and regularly reviews customer accounting line items
• Build sustainable customer relationship and be perceived as an expert within the market place.
• Conducts regular business reviews with accounts to review performance and drive action plans
• Monitoring and management of stock inventory/days cover, service levels, market hygiene and pricing on a regular basis
Trade Programs Implementation
• Ensures on-time implementation and excellent execution of trade programs and other initiatives that drive sales, distribution and merchandising dominance.
• Develops and implement customer plans to achieve set targets in line with the business planning process including channel, category and brand strategies.
• Ensures proper maintenance and optimum deployment of trade assets and Point of Sale materials to the trade in coordination with the PC and Trade Marketing Team.
Sales Reporting and Analysis
• Ensure sales data integrity, timely and accurately complied with.
• Compliance to periodic reports and administrative requirements.
