Job Descriptions
Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is to oversee and drive the execution of R&D activities, ensuring that all decisions made by the R&D team are implemented in a timely and effective manner while monitoring progress and resolving any issues that arise. The role involves working closely with relevant stakeholders to define project requirements, set clear development goals, and assign tasks to the team. Additionally, it requires the creation of new formulations that meet customer specifications, along with the development of project timelines to achieve business objectives in the Performance Business sector in Thailand.
This role also emphasizes the sharing of R&D knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. It provides strong leadership and management, guiding the R&D team to ensure activities align with the overall business goals. The role includes overseeing all R&D operations, such as reworking formulas to meet customer targets, finding alternative raw materials, and implementing cost reduction initiatives without compromising product performance.
In addition, the role involves conducting formulation testing based on customer or marketing requirements, collaborating with MCCJ for material analysis when needed, and engaging with customers and suppliers, including participating in trial production activities. Lastly, it includes providing necessary documentation and support to other departments throughout the development and production processes.
Principal Accountabilities:

-Directly responsible for overseeing and executing core functions within the department, ensuring alignment with company objectives and strategic goals.
-Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, motivation, and high performance to maximize productivity.
- Work closely with R&D team members to optimize testing outcomes and resolve any challenges
Qualifications
- Experience 5-7 Years
- Bachelor’s degree of Chemistry , Polymer , Chemical engineer or related field
- Good command in English language (Reading , Writing and Speaking)
- Experience in introducing new technologies, products and applications to the stakeholders ( SMs ,customers)
- Can confidently interact with customers to understand their needs and provide technical support.
- Experience in developing and commercializing thermoplastic elastomers ( TPEs) and PVC compounds in response to specific needs of customers.
- Responsibility for monitoring the pipeline of projects assigned to him/her and actively engage with stakeholders to successfully close projects within proposed timeline.
- Have a leadership skill Management Skill and circumspect, Have a good relationships well coordinate
- Have Knowledge of ISO System (IATF16949 , ISO9001, ISO14001)
- Able to use a computer and office equipment
