Job Descriptions
1. Operation of security of the premise including ensuring that staff are aware of the process on security and the use of alarm systems.
2. Maintenance schedules for cleaning staff, premises and grounds maintenance staff to ensure consistently high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, upkeep and safety of all school buildings and premises.
3. Ensure that RISR ground staff upkeep of playing fields, gardens, surfaces and to ensure the maintenance of boundaries, footpaths, roads and rights of way within the school premises.
4. Manages and operate systems of community usage of the premises
5. Ensures that all elements of health and safety are implemented and undertake responsibility for maintain the premises in a safe and healthy condition.
6. Ensure maintenance and checking of fire and other safety equipment by specialist contractor.
7. Monitor the safe storage and control of any potentially harmful materials and chemicals used within the school and ensure that such materials are appropriately marked and signposted.
8. Responsible for the ordering and checking of invoices and keeping stock records of all equipment and tools within the potholders’ sphere of responsibility.
9. Attend meetings of the premises committee and site meetings as necessary.
10. Operate all buildings operation such as maintenance, major repairs in compliance with health and safety that meets legal requirements (roof, CCTV, electricity, elevator, plumbing, campus access, parking, playgrounds, canteen, fire alarm, lighting etc.)
11. Engage all external contractors for building cleaning, waste disposal, catering, refurbishing interior, plumbing, exterminators, landscape maintenance and special repairs.
12. Report all accidents occur on campus.
13. Performs other related duties of a similar type and at a similar level.
14. Responsible for risk management of school.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge about SHE
- Communication skills (especially listening and speaking skills)
- 1-3 years of experiences
- Facility management
- Problem solving skills
