Job Descriptions
1. Training Program Development: Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs across various roles in the restaurant. Develop comprehensive training programs focusing on customer service, food safety, hospitality standards, and operational procedures. Create engaging training materials, both digital and physical, ensuring they are up-to-date with industry best practices. 2. Training Implementation: Conduct orientation sessions for new employees, ensuring they understand the restaurant’s values, culture, and operational procedures. Organize ongoing training sessions for existing staff, covering areas such as menu knowledge, customer engagement, and conflict resolution. Utilize a variety of training methods, including hands-on training, workshops, and online modules, to cater to different learning styles. 3. Training Evaluation: Implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs, including feedback surveys and performance assessments. Analyze training outcomes and use data-driven insights to continuously improve training methods and content. Monitor staff performance and provide additional coaching or training as needed. 4. Process Optimization: Continuously review training processes and update them to align with industry trends and emerging technologies. Explore and implement innovative training tools and platforms to enhance the learning experience for employees. 5. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with HR, department managers, and senior leadership to align training programs with organizational objectives. Communicate training schedules and updates effectively to all staff members. Foster a positive learning environment where employees feel motivated to enhance their skills. Background:
Qualifications
  1. A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree can be advantageous.
  2. Substantial experience in restaurant operations and training. Prior roles in management or training within the hospitality sector are highly desirable.
  3. In-depth understanding of hospitality standards, customer service principles, food safety regulations, and restaurant operations
  4. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in instructional design, training delivery, and evaluation techniques. Familiarity with training software and e-learning platforms is a plus.
  5. Enthusiasm for continuous learning, adaptability to change, and a passion for fostering a positive and productive work environment.
