Job DescriptionsPrimary Responsibilities (inclusive but not limited to):
- Leading and managing Art & Design academic programs using Higher National Qualification (Pearson’s BTEC), and guiding the cross-discipline team in relation to the Pearson Higher National (BTEC) program.
- Collaborating with other Newton School Group Higher National (BTEC) programs for guidance and ensuring synchronicity with the overall Newton School Group direction.
- Developing and/or enhancing policies and procedures in support of the Newton and Higher National qualification (BTEC) goals and requirements.
- Monitoring and evaluating progress, and providing constructive feedback to foster growth.
- Establishing and maintaining a conducive learning environment, fostering supervisors and students' overall well-being and social development.
- Collaborating with fellow educators, parents, or guardians to discuss student progress and address any academic concerns.
- Organizing and supervising extracurricular activities, such as clubs and academic contests, to enrich the students' learning experience.
- Instructing students in a subject of art and design (based on Higher National guideline).
- Fulfilling additional professional duties as assigned by the School Director.
