Job Descriptions
To assist technical services management by performing technical analysis of manufacturing processes, systems, heat treat, N/C programming, cellular manufacturing, etc. to permit effective management decisions. Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: • Tool design, assembly, manufacturing processing, cost estimating, systems planning, layout, standards, releasing, etc. and requires the coordination of all disciplines. • Ensuring optimum utilization of equipment and space by coordinating the layout of areas such as storage areas, test equipment, etc., • Coordinating the installation of new machines and equipment and process changes to provide the most efficient and economical manufacture or assembly of quality parts. • Responsibility for expense budgets, capital forecasts and expenditures. • May also be responsible for the acquisition of new vehicles and maintaining the fleet for a facility; disposition of surplus machines; investigation and negotiation of contracts.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering filed
  2. At least 3-5 years of manufacturing process or manufacturing environment
  3. Knowledge of the planning system, manufacturing operations, facilities, methods and tooling required
  4. Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly procedures, planning processes, work standards relative to manufacturing and inspection and a thorough background in statistical quality control data and gaging specifications
  5. Strong collaborative, interpersonal, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  6. Good interpersonal skills are essential to develop a cooperative working relationship with others, both inside and outside the organization
  7. Good command of English communication and computer (MS Office) skill
