Job Descriptions
Working hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.) Working location: Fortune Tower (MRT Rama 9) ***Interested applicants, please submit your updated English resume with contact phone number, current and expected salary. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. *** *** Able to start working immediately will be considered an advantage.*** Job Description: As an International Freight Forwarding Procurement Specialist (Fright Coordinator / Operations), your primary responsibility is to manage the procurement process for transportation services, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of freight forwarding services from suppliers and carriers. You will play a crucial role in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing procurement strategies to support the company’s operational objectives. Responsibilities: 1.Vendor Management: · Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and carriers for international freight forwarding services. · Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and service agreements. · Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies in service delivery. 2. RFQ/RFP/COST Management: · Prepare and manage requests for quotations (RFQs) and proposals (RFPs) for freight forwarding services. · Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including logistics, operations, and finance teams, to define requirements and evaluate supplier proposals. · Monitor and analyze transportation costs, including freight rates, fuel surcharges, and accessorial charges. 3. Data Analysis and Reporting: · Collect, analyze, and report data on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings initiatives. · Provide regular reports and updates to management on procurement metrics, trends, and KPIs.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Minimum 1 year experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  3. Both air and sea shipment are required, preferably in sea shipment experiences.
  4. Able to speak English. If good or excellent communication is plus.
  5. Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
  8. Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship management skills.
  9. Have responsibilities, well organized, hard working and able to work under pressure.
