Established in 2014, Valentis provides turn-key mining services at an international standard. Valentis has over 300 team members, with offices and operations across Laos, Indonesia, Thailand and Cambodia. Valentis is looking for a Mechanic to ensure reactivation/warm-stack expenditures for parts/materials, services, and manpower are warranted and monitored on the project site. Provide technical and operational expertise to determine correct and adequate spares are sourced and purchased for reactivating units, assist in reactivation budget design, manage the technical and operational aspects. Key Responsibilities • To service and maintain our drill rigs and support equipment • Maintain clean and safe work site and equipment • Trouble shoot problems and be solution orientated • Complete preventative maintenance to maximize equipment production. • Ensure compliance with Company workplace health and safety regulations and site-specific rules

Qualifications

Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic/ Drill Fitter trade qualification or equivalent
Previous experience working on exploration drill rigs preferred.
Previous experience hydraulic troubleshooting skillset essential
Experience in diagnosing / servicing / repairing of surface drill rigs, hydraulics, auxiliary water pumps essential.
Possess general welding and fabrication skills.
Flexible, able to multi-task, excellent prioritization skills
Ability to maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures
4+ years or equivalent essential
Worked in a multi-cultural environment
Communicate well in Thai and in English
