Job Descriptions

-Plan, design, and conduct research projects according to established scientific methods, principles, and theories to fulfill customer requirements and support Tyson Foods' business objectives. -Generate new products, components, equipment, systems, and processes that meet quality, cost, and sustainability goals. -Set up laboratory test equipment and build models and prototypes to test and validate new ideas and concepts. --Analyze test results using statistical analysis software and prepare detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions. -Prepare calculations, specifications, and other technical documentation so that prototype designs can be manufactured and assembled. -Develop and maintain technical expertise on advances and innovations in research and science relevant to Tyson Foods' business. -Estimate the costs, resources, and time required to conduct a research project and monitor performance to ensure these targets are met. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Quality Assurance, and Operations, to ensure successful product development and launch. -Provide mentorship and guidance to R&D team members and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in food sciences, food technology, or food product development or related fields.
2-3 years of experience in R&D function in food industries.
Proficient in English language (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Knowledge of statistical analysis software, R&D-specific software, and other relevant tools is preferred.
Basic knowledge of GMP, HACCP, HALAL, and BRC.
