Job Descriptions
Purpose of Job To support Production Department by maintaining schedule routine and preventive maintenance of Production moulds to achieve the desired level of performance to minimize downtime and parts defect. Principal job responsibilities 1.Carry out routine maintenance, repair and servicing of Production mold. 2.Maintain good record on the mold & repair history. 3.Fabricate jig and fixture to support production parts. 4.Modify and improve jig and fixture to meet customer’s requirement. 5.Routine check on running moulds to ensure parts produced is of quality standards. 6.Ensure proper hose keeping and discipline. 7.Comply with all safety practices at work. 8.Minimize wastage and spare part.
Qualifications
  1. Diploma holder in mold making or Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Minimum 2 year experience in precision mold making or mold repairing preferred.
  3. Must be able to operate EDM, milling & grinding machines.
  4. Must be able to troubleshoot mold problems.
  5. Must be able to read & write simple English.
