Job Descriptions

Act as Systems Team Lead for the team of Systems Engineer.

Hands-on as needed to support the team.

Troubleshooting server and systems related issues.

Maintain server and systems operations.

Systems operation planning.

General server administration task(s) such as add/delete user, create shared resources, server configuration, etc.

Keep patches, fixes and service packs on servers updated.

Monitor capacity and initiate capacity planning.

Server performance tuning.

Backup of server data using existing backup software.

Coordinate with vendor and/or product owner in case of hardware failure (infrastructure)

Update virus patterns in anti-virus software using existing anti-virus software.

Update server status and configuration to Customer’s staff.

Systems related documents and reports. - Daily or Weekly reports. - Monthly performance reports (provide information to Service Delivery Manager as part of monthly report) - Ad-hoc reports.

Database Scope of Work (Microsoft SQL) - Monitor database error on index, table of systems user database (by dbcc command) - Monitor log, database disk usage and provide summary report. - Monitoring SQL error logs. - Monitoring SQL performance/healthy/capacity planning. - Trace for monitoring an instance of the Database Engine (excludes analyze) - Create new databases per customer’s requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Systems Engineer or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects.
Proficiency in systems administration, network protocols, hardware configuration, and software deployment.
Strong knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows) and virtualization technologies.
Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience in leading and mentoring junior engineers and other team members.
Ability to create detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
