Job Descriptions
Develop and implement tools and processes to improve paint system performance, including Safety, Quality, Throughput and Cost. Provide process and troubleshooting support to paint processes and implement permanent corrective actions.,Monitor and report paint, solvent, daily/monthly usages and provide data for Environmental reporting.,Manage rack cleaning, rack repair, maintenance.,Manage Paint line cleaning, pump outs, cleaning audits.,Manage and monitor paint supplier activities.,Ensure environmental compliance in paint systems.,Keep all Engineering work instructions and forms up to date annually.,Assist with PFMEA's, control plans, work instruction, layouts, etc.,Promote quality, continuous improvement, preventative maintenance, good housekeeping and safety practices.,Work with production on site, capacity and level scheduling.,Maintain system backups.,Able to shift hours to assist with maintenance training and repairs.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
  2. Work experience, minimum 3-5 years as process engineer, painting engineer in Automotive industrial
  3. Computer competence in Windows Word, Excel, Access
  4. Robot path programming knowledge and experience
  5. Have strong background in paint, paint mixing, paint delivery systems
  6. Experience with spray adhesive applications
  7. Possesses interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  8. High level of analytical ability, oral and written communication skills vely with others
  9. Ability to work independently.
