Job Descriptions
- Fragrance development, perfumery,for the product and packaging development process. From planning to production processes to meet standards
- Proven experience in managing a team and overseeing fragrance development projects from concept to launch.
- Understanding of industry regulations and safety standards for fragrance development. - Proficiency in using fragrance evaluation tools and software.
- Project Management: - Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Experience in setting and meeting deadlines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Up-to-date knowledge of market trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies in the fragrance industry. - Networking with industry professionals and staying informed about competitor products.
- Responsible for testing, collecting data, and analyzing problems. and present solutions to work-related problems
- Manage product research and development costs appropriately.
- Contact and coordinate with internal departments such as the production department, marketing department, etc., as well as external agencies such as suppliers, various government agencies, etc., in order to ensure efficient operations according to the goals set.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Perfumery, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
- Experience: - At least 5-10 years of experience in fragrance development, perfumery, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: - Deep knowledge of fragrance raw materials, olfactory principles, and formulation techniques.
- Management Skills: - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and production. - Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
- Creative and Analytical Skills: - Strong creative vision and the ability to innovate within the fragrance space. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and optimize formulations.
- Communication Skills: - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to present ideas and results to senior management and stakeholders effectively.
- Personal Traits: - Detail-oriented and highly organized. - Adaptable and open to feedback. - Passionate about fragrances and the sensory experience they provide.
- - Experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
- - Proficiency in multiple languages could be beneficial, especially if dealing with international suppliers or markets.
- - Certifications from recognized institutions in perfumery or fragrance development can be an added advantage.
