Job Descriptions
Salary Range:Mid-Level to Senior Level - 40,000THB to 80,000THB.Thai Attorney-at-Law License is a mandatory requirement.Salary dependant on experience and proven track record.Must be able to handle both transactional works and litigation/dispute works and balance between those.It is very important for the work balance in our firm. •Collaborate with Partners and Thai Attorneys in relation to legal matters, including but not limited to transactional based client engagements and litigation management assistance; •Production, drafting and editing of legal documents; •Preparation, negotiation, and review of contracts in English, and other ancillary contracts or transactional documents related to the law business and client matters; •Conducting due diligence with Thai attorneys and preparation of or vetting of due diligence reports prepared by Thai attorneys; •Preparation of corporate governance documents; liaising with clients in Thailand and abroad to discuss and advise on legal issues; •Legal research and writing for the preparation of legal opinions and reports for clients and firm Partners; •Acting as an ambassador of the firm in the community and with respect to clients and other third party business contacts; •Preparing and Drafting legal articles, reports and opinions, some of which are published in the local media; •Liaising with, and on occasion, supervising junior Thai attorneys in respect of client matters and developing a plan of action to carry out client instructions; •Engaging in various business development activities including attending webinars or conferences or networking events as a representative of the firm; and •Improving firm systems and all other duties assigned by the Partners •Handle contract negotiation on deals, negotiate and prepare deliverables and oversee ‘completions’ comprising handling management of payment obligations in alignment with documents and execution and performance of other obligations. by the parties.
Qualifications
  1. Thai National.
  2. Bachelor’s degree (law or other with necessary academic conversion for law license)
  3. Law license in Thailand or another jurisdiction
  4. Mid-Senior = 4+ to 10+ years of experience in legal services position (in-house; private practice or similar)
  5. Proficient in technology and able to adapt to new technology: our firms uses SLACK; Structure Flow and office software tools for day to day practice. Our technology changes regularly to keep up to date with modern legal practice.
  6. Strong communication and presentation skills
  7. Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple projects
  8. Friendly, personably attitude, able to work in a small enterprise ‘small law’ not ‘big law’ firm. It is very important within a small organisation not to inject ‘politics’ into relationships with team members and our firm’s culture, which we wish and need to preserve is one of helpfulness. We work hard to avoid ‘silos’ or ‘that’s not my job’ mentality within a firm where everybody is expected to help to get a task completed.
