Job Descriptions

The Assembly Machine Engineer / Supervisor is responsible for supervising operations to ensure production is operating in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. Responsible for production schedules and posting of daily work assignments based upon production needs and individual strengths. Must be shop floor orientated and provide “hands-on” product/process support for all reports on a daily basis. This individual will be the driver behind product/process safety, quality, delivery and morale. Accountable for continuous improvement of assigned department as well as training and development of direct reports. Supervisor’s responsibilities - Organise all relevant resources under your control in order to achieve the relevant daily production and quality/waste targets. - Control inventories, record and maintain production data. - Liaise with the QA department in resolving production issues. - To take care for the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your acts/omissions and to co-operate with the Company to ensure the well-being of all employees. - Make sure your operators on department work areas, maintain good 5S standard. - To communicate in either written/verbal form, any production information as required. - To plan, control and record all machine waste, rejected materials and any maintenance that maybe required. - To supervise/implement the work schedule, output, quality, cost, discipline, welfare,training of any employee placed under your control. - Monitor, control and act on stock levels. - Daily set-up control, changeover products, improvement for cycle time improvement, scrap reduction. - To implement and control within your area any Company rules and general factory directives. - To provide leadership and develop the problem-solving skills for your work team. - To be available for call-outs and all other reasonable overtime as necessary; and - Any other work as directed by your manager or authorized representative of the Company.

Qualifications

Male/Female, age between 35 - 45 years
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years supervisor / Engineer experience in related to plastics moulding or automatic assembly machine manufacturing.
Familiar with assembly process and automatic line familiar with pneumatic hydraulic, electrical wiring and relay control system
Special consider who has experienced about vision camera (KEYENCE), Sensors , ladder diagrams or PLC
Minimum of 5 year experience in consumer product manufacturing
Communication in English
Experience with automation line in assembly process
Experience with multinational company would be an advantage
Proactive and able to work under pressure
