Job Descriptions

Research and Innovation: 1. Conduct thorough research on new materials, technologies, and trends in the flexible packaging industry. 2. Identify opportunities for innovation and product improvement. 3. Develop prototypes and test new packaging solutions. Product Development: 1. Lead the development of new packaging products from concept through to production. 2. Create detailed product specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards. 3. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source new materials. Project Management: 1. Manage multiple R&D projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints. 2. Prepare and present project updates, reports, and proposals to senior management. 3. Coordinate with production teams to ensure the smooth transition from development to manufacturing. Quality Assurance: 1. Establish and maintain quality control standards for new products. 2. Conduct rigorous testing and validation of new materials and products. 3. Address and resolve any quality issues that arise during the development process. Regulatory Compliance: 1. Ensure all new products comply with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, EU, etc.). 2. Stay updated on changes in industry regulations and adjust development processes accordingly. Market Analysis: 1. Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences. 2. Analyze competitor products and identify areas for differentiation and improvement. 3. Work with the marketing and sales teams to align product development with market demands. Sustainability: 1. Develop and promote sustainable packaging solutions. 2. Research and implement eco-friendly materials and processes. 3. Monitor the environmental impact of new products and make improvements as needed.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in R&D within the flexible packaging or a related industry.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of packaging materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
