Job Descriptions
Job Duties/Responsibilities/Job Description, but are not limited to:
•Provide Engineering solutions to support our operation facility in Rayong while maintaining Safety and Quality and allowing delivery of products on time.
•Provides design engineering support to various parts of the organization including Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Aftermarkets and other areas.
•Provide Engineering support to coordinating all Purchase Finish, Interplant and Internal (fabrication) issues are routed through Part/Product Deviations and Design for Manufacturing Projects.
•Lead tracking and monitoring all tasks for Part/Product Deviations and Design for Manufacturing Projects and report out the status.
•Working closely with other engineering group overseas within the organization & contractors to develop long term design improvements for the product line. This will typically provide strong engineering development opportunities to the candidate.
•Maintain close communications with all departments and our partner worldwide Engineering Organization to coordinate design activities. This requires a good communications skill in both Thai and English, and an ability to summarise and deliver technical information in an efficient way.
•This position will give significant exposure to and learning opportunities with best-in-class products, and advanced technologies currently developed by Caterpillar, especially in its electrification and automation journey.
Qualifications
- Experience in project management and coordinating activities associated with production issues.
- Strong ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and others in the facility, as well as employees in other areas of the organization and suppliers. English speaking proficiency will be highly valued for this position.
- Excellent Teamwork capabilities, technical understanding and high Integrity will be key factors for the successful candidates
- Bachelor’s degree in an accredited engineering, or related field, curriculum plus 2 - 5 years of experience.
- Project coordination, task management, data analysis, data reporting and dashboards, problem solving and quick-thinking capacities to develop timely engineering solutions.
- Experience with 2D/3D modelling or simulation tools is plus.
