Job DescriptionsThe Training Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the training and development programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of employees. This role is essential for ensuring that all employees are well-trained in line with company standards, safety protocols, and productivity targets. The Training Supervisor will work closely with department heads to identify training needs, design training programs, and evaluate training effectiveness, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Program Development:
1.Design & implement training programs, focusing on manufacturing processes, safety, quality, & efficiency.
2. Develop training materials, manuals, & curriculum to enhance job skills and knowledge aligned with the company’s production standards.
3. Coordinate with external training providers when necessary to supplement in-house programs.
Training Needs Assessment:
1.Conduct regular training needs assessments by evaluating employee skills, performance, and departmental requirements.
2.Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify specific skill gaps and areas for improvement.
Training Delivery:
3.Conduct both classroom and on-the-job training sessions for new hires, transfers, and current employees requiring skill upgrades.
4.Ensure that all employees are trained on quality control procedures, safety regulations, and best manufacturing practices.
5.Facilitate orientation and training for new hires to integrate them smoothly into the organization.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
6.Develop and implement tools to assess the effectiveness of training programs and track the progress of trainees.
Monitor employees’ skill progression and provide feedback to line managers and the HR department.
7.Prepare and present training metrics and reports to senior management, recommending improvements where necessary.
