Job Descriptions
The Freight Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team, developing sales strategies, and driving business growth within the freight and logistics industry. This role requires a deep understanding of the freight market, excellent sales skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Strategy and Planning: - Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and objectives. - Identify new business opportunities and markets for growth. - Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities. 2. Team Management: - Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve sales goals. - Provide training and development opportunities for team members. - Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching. 3. Customer Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. - Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively. - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. 4. Sales Performance: - Set sales targets and monitor sales performance against these targets. - Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management. - Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. 5. Negotiation and Contract Management: - Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers to secure profitable deals. - Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. - Manage contract renewals and extensions. 6. Collaboration and Coordination: - Work closely with other departments such as operations, finance, and customer service to ensure seamless service delivery. - Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Qualifications
  1. FREIGHT SALES EXPERIENCE MORE THAN 5 YEARS
  2. Proven experience in sales and management within the freight or logistics industry.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
