Job Descriptions1.Implements the performance measurements necessary to effectively evaluate organizational performance and trends in product quality, services, customer satisfaction, and the cost of poor quality. Uses the results of performance evaluation to target improvement efforts.
2.Drive year-over-year improvements in key operational quality metrics such as PPM and supplier quality by developing and analyzing statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish the proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.
3.Working with, leading and overseeing internal inspection resources, inspect incoming materials and parts by performing fit and finish inspections onsite.
4.Keeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and actions being taken to improve the situation. Communicates customer, regulatory and organizational requirements to assure product quality, contract compliance, and customer satisfaction.
5.Reject and arrange return of non-conforming and defective products based on conformance with quality standards
6.Owns and drives multiple complex continuous improvement projects to enhance our quality programs and standards. Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities.
7.Plans, designs, promotes, organizes, implements, and leads quality training programs. Drive the ‘zero escape mindset’ and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
8.Mentor, coach, and develop the operational quality staff as a high-performing team that adds value to the business.
9.Directs workers engaged in inspection, calibration, and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
10.Coordinates ISO Audits and certifications.
11.Other duties as assigned.
