Job Descriptions

Responsibilities: 1. Lead daily meetings, review plans and assign duties to operators. 2. Monitor and evaluate productivity through team and individual metrics. 3. Actively participate and engage in continuous improvement processes, coach employees, resolving employee issues through problem resolution. 4. Effectively communicate company policies and procedures to the team. 5. Manage and coach employees and ensure timely performance reviews and proper documentation of performance issues. 6. Responsible for effective the production schedule, and ensure the schedule is followed. 7. Supervises subordinates and provides on the job coaching & feedback and training. 8. Maintain work area in a neat, clean, and organized condition. 9. Understands and follows all company and manufacturer’s policies and procedures and assures compliance of all attendance & safety rules and regulations. 10. Willingly assist others as necessary to keep work current, meet deadlines or maintain an even workload. 11. Cooperates with other coworkers and demonstrates a good attitude. Performs an acceptable quantity and quality of work on time as required. 12. Managing departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and providing regular progress reports. 13. Monitor systematic key performance indicators (KPI s) and help with continuous improvement on said finding. 14. Record daily numbers and send updated reports throughout the day and end of the shift. 15.Enhance safety consciousness and awareness in the workplace.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree desired (in a optical science, Physics, Industrial Engineer or engineering field preferred)
At least 3 years of supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment
Fluent speaking, and well-written skills in English
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP)
Good collaboration with cross-functions and team working
High passion for working and a good mindset
Strong interpersonal, coaching, and team-building skills.
