Job DescriptionsPrincipal Accountabilities:
1.Meet financial objectives by maximizing sales target with minimizing costs.
2.Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales.
3.Analyzing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning.
4.Using information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and planning.
5.Demonstrates desired behaviors for staff including driving sales, handling difficult and/or complicated sales, cash management, inventory, and follow-up with customers
6.Managing stock and shrinkage level to meet company KPI, and making key decisions about stock control and ensure items are in stock.
7.Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed.
8.Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards.
9.Touring the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues
10.Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met.
11.Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what competitors are doing every 3 month with action plan to support.
12.Ensure staff schedules meet company productivity.
13.Help to manage different departments within the store.
14.Managing and motivating a team; to increase sales and ensure efficiency; dealing with staffing issues such as coaching and developing potential staff, conducting performance reviews, as well as providing constructive feedback for staff.
